Powering innovation – E Mixer

 

We have also designed and built one of the UK’s first all-electric ready-mix concrete mixers in partnership with Aggregate Industries—an important step towards net-zero construction. The E-mixer is the first of its kind to operate in the UK with zero tailpipe emissions. Matching the average capacity of a conventional diesel vehicle, it is expected to save 42 tonnes of CO₂ per year, delivering zero emissions per mile versus 1.55 kg of CO₂ per mile for its fossil-fuel equivalent.
