Responsibility is our driver
Our target is to source all our electricity from renewables – wind, hydro and solar – and, where possible, to replace our equipment with energy efficient alternatives.
We minimise waste, maximise our recycling, and prioritise landfill diversion. Any waste produced is disposed of by a licenced waste carrier, ensuring the health and safety of our people, our community, and protecting our environment.
Every quarter, we monitor our company-wide water usage to detect any abnormalities – like leakage losses.
We will calculate our carbon footprint annually and invest in new ways to tackle our impact. It’s part of our strive towards providing Net Zero emission vehicle bodies by 2050 at the latest.
Our people are what keeps vehicle bodies in motion. We nurture their their skills and career development, offering expert training and advancement opportunities.
We also regularly review our employment standards and HR Policy, ensuring we provide equal opportunities and flexible working to everyone at TVS Interfleet.
We are committed to advancing our supply network, promoting innovative collaboration with suppliers who adopt ethical, fair and environmentally responsible business practices.
We have appointed an ESG committee to track progress, make recommendations to the board, and take action. We will continue to engage with external specialists to ensure our policies and procedures stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ESG best practices.
We also conduct materiality assessments amongst stakeholders to identify and prioritise the most critical challenges and growth opportunities for our business and stakeholders.
When it comes to commercial and industrial vehicles, the chassis drives the body, but the body drives the business.
