Responsibility is our driver

As industry leaders, TVS Interfleet has a moral obligation to steer the vehicle bodies industry toward a more sustainable future.
Delivering the best outcomes for all our stakeholders

By operating with a strong environmental, social and governance purpose, we can deliver the best outcomes for all our stakeholders today, tomorrow and for years to come.

Our ESG policy aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It outlines our collective commitments to keep moving forward and creating a better environment for all.

Environmental
Respect the environment. We are committed to reducing carbon emissions, using renewable energy sources and eco-friendly design innovations – like our lightweight e-mixers and e-tippers.
Social
Our people and supplier network are our greatest assets. We continue to nurture and invest in them to create an environment where everyone can flourish.
Governance
We operate with honesty and integrity. We prioritise meeting stakeholders’ expectations, building risk resilience, and seizing growth opportunities.
Highlights from our ESG policy:
Capturing energy using more efficient alternatives

Our target is to source all our electricity from renewables – wind, hydro and solar – and, where possible, to replace our equipment with energy efficient alternatives.

Diverting waste from landfill and transforming it into energy

We minimise waste, maximise our recycling, and prioritise landfill diversion. Any waste produced is disposed of by a licenced waste carrier, ensuring the health and safety of our people, our community, and protecting our environment.

Reducing our water consumption

Every quarter, we monitor our company-wide water usage to detect any abnormalities – like leakage losses.

The road to net-zero

We will calculate our carbon footprint annually and invest in new ways to tackle our impact. It’s part of our strive towards providing Net Zero emission vehicle bodies by 2050 at the latest.

Supporting the wellbeing and development of our people

Our people are what keeps vehicle bodies in motion. We nurture their their skills and career development, offering expert training and advancement opportunities.

We also regularly review our employment standards and HR Policy, ensuring we provide equal opportunities and flexible working to everyone at TVS Interfleet.

Building trusted relationships with key suppliers

We are committed to advancing our supply network, promoting innovative collaboration with suppliers who adopt ethical, fair and environmentally responsible business practices.

Meeting stakeholders expectations and seizing growth opportunities

We have appointed an ESG committee to track progress, make recommendations to the board, and take action. We will continue to engage with external specialists to ensure our policies and procedures stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ESG best practices.

We also conduct materiality assessments amongst stakeholders to identify and prioritise the most critical challenges and growth opportunities for our business and stakeholders.

Leading the ESG agenda

We are transparent. We regularly revisit our ESG Policy to ensure it evolves with changes in industry demands and regulation, and make it publicly available so you can track our progress.

Bodies built with purpose

When it comes to commercial and industrial vehicles, the chassis drives the body, but the body drives the business.
